Jewelry designer Mandy Greenan started thinking about getting married. Naturally, her thoughts turned towards tiaras. Having never considered the tiara before, Mandy found herself captivated by this new world of design possibility.
January, 2001
Never one to drag her feet, Mandy jumped head first into her new passion for hair jewelry. She taught herself html code and built her first website, customtiaras.com. She took a few pictures of the first designs, uploaded them to the website, and starting taking orders.

Mandy married Tyler, the man who got her thinking about tiaras.
June, 2002
What began as a hobby officially became a business, with a new name and a new website. Tigerlilly was born, a jewelry design house specializing in bridal headpieces and custom accessories.
2004
Tigerlilly received their first national recognition with several pieces featured in Modern Bride magazine. Their trademark "convertible tiara" was a huge hit with brides, since the convertibles could be worn as headpieces or necklaces interchangeably, with no restringing required. Mandy and Tyler also welcomed their daugher Luna to the world. |
2005
Ready to take the business to the next level, Tigerlilly began selling to some of the finest bridal boutiques in the country.
2006
Our first full year in the wholesale market, nearly 100 stores worldwide picked up the Tigerlilly collections. Tigerlilly ran full page ads in Martha Stewart Weddings, Elegant Bride, Modern Bride, and Wedding Dresses magazine, and were featured editorially in the top bridal publications. Tigerlilly also opened international accounts in Canada, the UK, Ireland, Japan, Turkey, and Brazil.
2007
Tigerlilly showed their latest collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Bryant Park. The headpieces and jewelry easily translate from bridal to everyday wear (something brides love!) Designer Mandy Greenan appeared on Lifetime's Get Married, The Knot TV, and the WE network's Wedding Gown Secrets Revealed. Tigerlilly is established as a leader in the bridal accessory market.
