Our favorite part about Tigerlilly is getting to supply jewelry for creative, unique brides! And we love even more when they send us our wedding pictures! The beautiful Kelli sent us these pictures of her off-beat wedding photos:

Over the last few months of surfing through bridal industry websites there has been an apparent rise in printed, self-accessorized bridal party attire. Where perhaps there is the same color, but different cuts of gowns or only the maid of honor wears a special printed dress. Or each bridesmaid has the same attire, but gets to add her own personal touches. Getting the bridal party exicted and involved is what it's all about - & Anthropoligie gets that to a tee...

So I was, perhaps by fate and destiny, watching the NBC morning show when an interesting topic caught my undivided attention. TrashTheDress.com is about photographing one's wedding gown, after the special date, in a shoot where the care of the dress is thrown out the door and brides are encouraged to, basically, ruin their white ensemble. What results is these amazing photos that you would never take on the wedding day. This outside-the-box concept is quite intriguing to us at Tigerlilly.

My first thought of Engagement photos is Washington post Sunday paper where very traditional engagement photos are often encountered and many times . . . on the blase side. But after coming across some interactive & memorable Engagement pics on bklynbrideonline.com I see what is literally engaging about them - is that they're FUN.

WeMetInABar.com offers great blogs and insight into the wedding industry. Entering the site for my first time I stumbled upon a dress named after ME! Destiny I thought at first, but then came to the realization that the big day is far in the distance for me. Reading on and loving this dress more and more, I come to find that this chiffon dress is a J. Crew gown (The Whitney) for under $400!!

Style.com is always keeping us informed on what to expect in the world of ... fashion. Who would be daring enough to wear this Chanel gown or the other 13 chosen Haute Couture pieces picked? I would like to say that I am, but until the shoe fits . . .

The black accents are true to Chanel and are overwhelmingly charming. Makes one think that the tradition of white wedding dresses is passe.

with her 2010 spring bridal collection, carolina herrera effectively answers the challenge to make fashion relevant in terms of its intersection with the rest of the world. specifically, an explicit nod to beloved painters who have shown up in more subtle ways in her collections through the years.

each dress is presented with the name of the artist it was inspired by
but even without seeing that, i was immediately attracted--no surprise-- to the three dresses inspired by the the three artists of the bunch that are my personal favorite
